About WHITE RABBIT ?

Alan R. Milligan (CEO & Partner) is an award-winning film producer, with Alan team working to form a new platform as a solution in the film industry Namely White rabbit. White Rabbit is a browser plugin platform that aims to solve problems in digital film distribution.

White Rabbit offers a digital platform with digital tokens backed with blockchain technology, which allows users to access digital content globally, reduce producer and creative costs, revenue share with streaming sites to drive innovative streaming markets and offer monetization models in a transparent, instant for producers, investors, artists.

According to the official website of White Rabbit, it won't be necessary to subscribe to any one website. The system will comprehend the content person watches while streaming her or his favourite movies or series. Smart contracts deducts a payment from customers and transports this instantly to rights holders. Using blockchain technologies, rights holders are also guaranteed full financial transparency.

White Rabbit provides a unique opportunity to eliminate closed server established subscription platforms. It grants unlimited access to acceptable distribution of material made by representatives of creative industries.

White Rabbit also addresses the problem of utter non-transparency of the whole even side of electronic distribution and cash-flow immediacy.

How Will White Rabbit Work?

As a result of the blockchain technology, the filmmakers and the fans will have a special opportunity to exclude intermediaries and make payment for viewing movies and make watching itself much easier and safer. Blockchain technology enables transfer of data and payments in a distributed ledger of records that no one can tamper with. After a document makes it to the blockchain, it can't be deleted or modified in any way.

This solution claims to restore the equilibrium in the whole content distribution industry; tackles the dilemma of movie piracy and article availability; clearly simplifies user experience; eliminates intermediaries and payment downtime in the equation; also, most importantly, builds a foundation for a truly competitive environment.

Not only that, but their smart contracts will enable all of the rights holders of the film, to be paid their fair and agreed share of the movies revenue, each time someone streams the film.

There are five challenges in the White Rabbit project, such as:

1. Too few movies and even fewer filmmakers make money from digital distribution
A movie earns a little of revenue and only accepts payments in one film production. Most do not receive the results of the distribution when the cost of production such as arthouse and indie films that brilliant must spend millions of dollars.

2. Lack of transparency
From the revenue received film production does not have transparency and payment as soon as possible, it takes 6 months to 5 years to receive revenue from the film production. Even so, producers, directors and investors are not many who know how big the impressions they produce from the film production.

3. Movie Hijacker Vs Movie Fans
The industry does not distinguish between movie hijackers and fans, film piracy in principle does not pay periodically and Fans are forced to break the law because they do not have access to their favorite movies and series and do not know what to pay for it.

4. Lack of choice
OTT (over the top) or a closed server subscription service that dominates the market. They generate more content and buy themselves, less content. OTT (over the top) can no longer be considered a distributor, they are modern day studios.

5. Lack of comfort
Unambiguous digital distribution due to lack of competition in OTT (over the top) hampers innovation in UI, search and service. However, if more subscription services mean more accounts, more login and more search for users to find the content they want.

Of the five challenges, of course White Rabbit take steps to determine the solution of the problem. White Rabbit's solution to this challenge creates a browser plugin platform that recognizes the content you are streaming from the pear-to-pear streaming server website and the traditional server you choose to stream.

Once the content is recognized, the plugin lets users pay rights holders and movie makers directly when they stream. Therefore, we are also driving a competitive market for digital distribution from creators. The market is free to use both content users and non-content users. White Rabbit separates the distribution of payments by offering one login with one payment system. After that, users can stream unlimitedly and can view the entire content.

That way White Rabbit can be an effective platform in determining who will pay for a work. If any content audiences by offering tokens means they are showing responsible audiences. The difference between film hijackers and fans is very clear, when there are movie hijackers then the duty of fans to admonish them to pay.

ROADMAP

The project’s road map does not commit to specific dates but currently outlines four distinct phases.

Phase One: Token Sale – the white-paper also indicates that this incorporates the objective of at least one exchange listing which may be critical for the success of subsequent phases.

Phase Two: Initial integration of White Rabbit into a number of partner, open server sites where users will be able to pay for access to White Rabbit’s own initial library of 400 films. Payment will be made directly by users to the streaming sites.

Phase Three: Development and roll-out of a smart contracts-managed payment distribution mechanism between Content Rights Holders, Partner Streaming Services and White Rabbit – this is essentially an expansion into a more flexible partnership and revenue model than the one outlined in phase two.

Phase Four: Integration of fiat interface for the browser plug-in which will allow users to pay with traditional credit card. The plug-in will manage the transactions in WRT (White Rabbit Token) on the back-end which will be required to gain access to its services.
